OBX1000 |
|
This high capacity ODF
(900mm x 300mm) is a standard ETSI rack for optical distribution,
available in 42U (2000mm) or 47U (2200mm) accommodating up to 74 or 82
OAsys splice and/or patch modules. The rack comprises a frame, side and
rear panels, doors and a central patchcord management system. Modules
can be purchased pre-installed in the rack by Prysmian, or separately to
suit the required application on day one or at a later date for

ORDJ10 |
|
A modular distribution
sub-rack for 19" and ETSI racks or wall mounted boxes, containing a
chassis, splice and/or patch modules and cable anchor systems. The
chassis is available in 1U, 4U, 5U and 13U sizes, fitting directly into
a standard 19" rack, or an ETSI rack with an adaptor bracket. The
chassis can be supplied empty for later configuration, or can be ordered
with selected modules installed by Prysmian pre-shipment. Cable anchor
systems are available for a variety of cable options, providing all
components to route fibres to the module. |

A 1U splicing, patching
and storage shelf allows the connection of up to 12 fibres onto a uniter
panel. The shelf is compatible with 19" and ETSI rack practices and
can store patchcord overlengths. Cables enter the shelf on the right
hand side and pigtails exit the unit on the same side. The shelf is
supplied with pigtails and uniters pre-installed to save installation
time. |

Sirocco
Splicing Shelf |
The shelf provides the
splicing capacity for up to 8 connectorised pigtails to Sirocco Blown
fibre units. The shelf is supplied with one pair of connectorised
pigtails as standard and 3 additional pairs of pigtails may be added
when system up grades are required. Two Blown Fibre tube entries are

Generic
Rack 4A |
This product is designed
for use in the central office (exchange) and customer premises for cross
connection purposes. Depending on the required level of circuit/cable
segregation, the capacity of the rack ranges from 768 spliced fibres
(single fibre working management) to 1536 spliced fibres (dual fibre
circuits).

Generic
Rack 3A |
This rack is designed for
use in exchanges and customer premises for cross connection, but can
also be used for transition from external to internal cable. The rack
must be used with a rack splicing module 3A. T he capacity of the rack
ranges from 288 spliced fibres (single fibre working) to 3456 spliced
fibres (12 fibres per element/single element management). The rack will
accept cables from overhead and/or underfloor, and jumper cables from
top, bottom, sides, and the rear.

Generic
Sub-Rack 3A |
|
This sub-rack is designed
for use in ETSI compliant optical equipment racks. It must be used in
conjunction with a rack splicing module (RSM) 3A. Maximum capacity is 48
spliced fibres (one RSM), based on single circuit management. Using the
RSM, connectorised pigtails from the optical equipment can be spliced
directly to internal cables. A further advantage of the generic sub-rack
is the space in the base for excess lengths of patch cord. |
